Authors, Judy Copek, Kat Fast, and Leslie Wheeler will discuss how women authors have been redefining the genre by creating strong women characters in this in-person event sponsored by the Swansea Public Library.
Join us for CRAFT CHAT, a monthly program for our members who are unpublished in mystery fiction. During each one-hour Zoom meeting, unpublished members will have the opportunity to ask questions of at least one published member of SinCNE about the craft of writing mysteries, in any format.
In this panel, which will be held in person, authors, Maureen Boyle, Jan Brogan, Kate Flora, and John Nardizzi, who are either non-fiction true crime writers and/or writers of novels based on real crimes, will discuss how they use true crimes to tell great stories, while either sticking to the facts, and or using the facts as a jumping off point to create powerful fiction.
