Tonya Price is a published author, former business executive and consultant to many startup companies. As a speaker, she has addressed high tech, Higher Ed and author audiences through webinars, at regional, national and online conferences. Her talks have covered a variety of topics related to small business, entrepreneurship, and business planning. As a former online instructor Tonya has many entrepreneurs across the world launch and grow their own businesses. Her book, The Writer's Business Plan, was written after several authors approached her for advice on making a business of their writing.
Tonya's first company was one of the first Web design firms in New England, StrategicIdeas. The company was acquired after doubling its revenues every month. Tonya Price Consulting was her second company aimed at helping small businesses utilize the Internet to achieve their business goals.
Magnolia Lane Press is Tonya's third company and latest venture which publishes both fiction and non-fiction titles. The Business Books for Writers series is the first release from Magnolia Lane Press. The Writer's Business Plan is the first book in the series, to be followed by How to Manage your Book Project, (due out the Summer 2016,) and How to Manage Your To Do List, (due out Fall, 2016.)
Tonya has published several mystery and thriller short stories. Her latest historical mystery short story appeared in the "Hidden Crime," anthology and next year her first published thriller will appear in the "Hard Choices" anthology. |
