Who We Are

At Sisters in Crime New England, we are—first and always—passionate about great crime fiction. As one of the largest chapters of Sisters in Crime International, we've built a thriving community where NYT bestselling authors, multiple award-winners, emerging voices, and devoted readers come together to celebrate mysteries, thrillers, and suspense in all their forms.

We embrace every publishing journey—whether you're traditionally published, hybrid, indie, or an industry professional. Our ranks include authors who've topped bestseller lists, won prestigious awards, and broken new ground in the genre, alongside writers just beginning their craft and readers who love a great whodunit.

For over three decades, we've been at the heart of New England's crime fiction community, co-hosting the renowned Crime Bake Conference in partnership with Mystery Writers of America. This flagship event has honored some of the biggest names in crime fiction and continues to bring together the best minds in the industry for education, networking, and celebration of the craft.
