Biography
Norman Birnbach is a co-author of Why Should I Trust You? (Linden Tree Press, Sept. 30, 2025), a spooky middle-grade mystery about enemies-turned-allies, a century-old crime, and a demon cockroach, and Stealing Time, both with Tilia Klebenov Jacobs. A Kindle bestseller that combines time-travel with a jewelry heist, Stealing Time has won multiple awards, including a 2025 Silver Falchion Finalist, 2025 Silver Falchion Top Pick and 2024 Claymore Top Pick selected at the Killer Nashville writers conference.
Additionally, he has authored more than 100 op-eds, articles, and short stories published in The New York Times, The New York Times Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, New York Magazine, McSweeney's Internet Tendency, The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction, the Militant Grammarian, CrimeReads and other publications.
